Runner in Sight
Here is that picture Ed was talking about:

The Runner
Name of player(you): Ed
Name of character: Jeremy Richards (Refers to himself as Steven Pierre in story when writing about himself) his public Vernacular title is The Runner
Race(fantasy only): Human
Age: 15
Appearance: (Edited from yesterday due to an important detail I totally forgot about.) Looks like a nobody. Blends in well in a crowd, that is, if he's wearing a hat. If he makes a zippy exit nobody would even notice he was gone. He combs his hair parting to the right, giving the impression that it curls back over his head. A very popular style for the past year and a half. I see it more and more. Before the procedure his hair was a dark brown. After the procedure it began turning a dark blue. It almost looks black indoors. Outdoors in the sun one can easily tell that there is something strange about it. Spending too much time in the sun bleaches it partially, turning it an interesting shade of aquamarine.
Clothing: Usually wears what one might expect a teen to wear: Graphic tees with Levis. After going into his work professionally he was given a uniform with all the things to make his job easier. Paul has a picture of him wearing his uniform, looking very heroic.
Weapon(s){if any}: He can throw anything with pinpoint precision as long as it's heavy.
Personality: He's pretty laid back most of the time, usually willing to pitch in and help out as long as he's not in the spotlight. When he is wearing his uniform he feels much more aggressive and forward. In any case, he hates showing off and sometimes thinks of himself as a freak because of his abnormal abilities. In the end he really doesn't like where his life has gone but makes the best of it, serving God as best he can all the while. Other than that, he loves Renaissance music, playing the harpsichord, and studying the Bible. In many ways he is the exact opposite of GPS as far as personality goes.
Occupation(if any): Student and Vigilante. Later on he joins a secret private crime fighting organization and becomes a Professional.
Parents, family, special friends: Sam (I forgot the last name I came up with for him. I'm open to suggestions.)
Homeland: Duluth, Minnesota; runs away at one point to Minneapolis.
Special Abilities: He can run extremely fast, lift an enormous amount of weight, And finally, Durability: If he were to fall from any height he would walk away with a nasty bruise, which would take about two days to disappear. Bullets have no effect on him. It takes him three or less days to recover from any injury, severe or not.
Summary of background(if desired): He acquired his special abilities after participating in a research study to cure him of a serious illness. They didn't appear instantly, it took several months after the procedure was performed before he realized how easy it was to lift heavy objects and read and do his homework in just a few minutes (and at that point he wasn't even close to his full potential). Of course it was explained to him that this was likely to happen, but when it actually did it was quite a shock (It was actually what the research study was actually studying. The curing of his illness was just a guaranteed side effect). After an accident indirectly caused by him due to his new found strength at his school in which one of his classmates; a bully named Simon Yakof was killed as a result, he feels responsible and runs away, living several weeks on the streets of Minneapolis. He knew about his strength, using it on a daily basis (You couldn't help but notice it if a cinder block feels like a feather), but otherwise his true running ability went undiscovered for some time until coming across an all out gang fight. He reacted without really knowing what he was doing, disarming each gang member, and tying them up to each other and calls the police on a nearby payphone. This began his life as a vigilante in North Minneapolis, which is what he was doing up to the time this was written, returning to his family and his school the following fall and on most nights returning to Minneapolis for several hours to keep an eye on things.
Edit: in Gifted Earth he starts calling himself Foot Soldier.
Other important info: He is not impermeable like Superman. His reactive shell is ineffective against being cut by knives of any kind.
Picture of character(optional, but desirable): Paul has one.

G.P.S.
Name of character: Gilbert Patrick Sullivan
Race(fantasy only): Human...with elf ears and super powers.
Age: 21
Appearance: 6 ft. tall. grey eyes. Spiked, blonde hair, with a few strands braided from front to back. Elf ears. A thin scar running from the top of his forehead to the side of his chin on the left side of his face.
Clothing: A leather jacket with wings printed on the back. Other than the jacket he dresses like any other athletic young fellow.
Weapon(s){if any}: Self-induced bio-teleportation. (His power to teleport is a natural part of his physiology.)
Personality: ESTP - “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” - Helen Keller. He doesn’t mind being the center of attention. Using his powers, to help people and look good doing it are his main goals. He is bold, rational, experimental, perceptive and sociable. However he can also be insensitive at times, impatient, a risk-taker, rather unstructured, defiant and he often misses the “big picture” in many situations.
Occupation(if any): Uses his powers to deliver people and packages quickly. Like a bicycle messenger that uses teleportation.
Parents, family, special friends: While being sociable, he doesn’t actually have too many good friends.
Homeland: He currently resides in the same city that Xander does.
Animal(s){pet, steed, helper, etc - Please limit to three}: Gilbert lives with his aged cat, Prince John.
Summary of background(if desired): He was born with elf ears, (which is pretty cool,) and was made fun of in school because of them, (which is not cool). In high school he discovered his powers of teleportation and thought that he could use them to make people like him. Now he is quite popular in the city but he still feels empty. He likes the attention being a super hero brings, but doesn’t have too many close friends to hang out with, making him rather lonely.
Other important info: He got his facial scar when he tried to take his cat to the vet. He is able to teleport within a one mile radius of his original position. He has trained in boxing and Karate. His favorite food is apple crisp.
